Facials

Facials are important for the sake of the skin, which can deteriorate due to stress, lack of attention and poor hydration. Facials are beneficial for all skin types – and particularly for people who are experiencing skin problems (such as acne or signs of aging).

It’s been shown that stress can be a factor causing acne (as well as a range of other skin disorders, such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, erythema, and alopecia areata). A study conducted in the User Science Institute in Japan reported the results of a 45-minute facial (including hydrating cream and steam treatment) on women aged 20 to 40 showed that facial massages significantly reduce anxiety negative moods.

Manicures and Pedicures

Caring for nails is a healthy habit as it prevents dry skin, softens rough edges and reduces the tendency to ingrown toe and fingernails. The Strong Hope manicure and pedicure services are performed by highly trained individuals.

Having one’s nails tended to also provides our clients with the benefit of extra pampering such as hand and feet cleansing and moisturizing, which involves a gentle massage as well as shaping, trimming and buffing the nail beds to a smooth finish.

As part of our treatment package clients may swap their access of a weekly CAT for a facial, manicure or pedicure – including the Manly for our gentlemen clients.
